2.41 Ct. Green Zircon

This 2.41 carat round green zircon from Ceylon Sri Lanka showcases precision geometry and exceptional presence, with dimensions of 7.78 by 7.77 by 5.17 mm, a faceted cutting style, and a mixed brilliant cut that maximizes light return. The cutter has combined the best attributes of brilliant and step philosophies, arranging crown and pavilion facets so that each plane functions to capture, refract, and reflect light. The result is vivid scintillation and deep internal flashes that animate the stone as it moves, producing a dynamic play of light that is both lively and controlled. With a clarity grade of very slightly included as evaluated at eye level, the inclusions are minimal and do not compromise the stone clarity on the finger, while the dark color intensity gives the green a rich, sophisticated tone that reads as elegant and versatile. The polish is excellent, providing mirror like facet surfaces that reduce light leakage and enhance the overall brightness, and there is no enhancement, assuring the buyer of natural color saturation and structural integrity. Compared to commonly available green gemstones and mass market zircons that are often heat treated or synthetically enhanced to achieve color, this natural Ceylon zircon stands out for its authenticity, superior cut proportions, and honest disclosure. Many stones at similar price points rely on heavy cutting to hide flaws or on treatments to boost color, but this gem delivers balanced optical performance, natural depth, and reliable durability without alteration. Its mixed brilliant faceting provides a rarer combination of fire and brilliance than a standard step cut, and its dark intensity makes it uniquely suited for statement rings as well as refined settings where contrast and presence matter. For buyers seeking value in genuine origin, precise cutting, and remarkable light play, this piece is a standout. We guarantee ethical sourcing, rigorous quality checks, and full transparency, making this transparent green zircon an intelligent choice for collectors and jewelry designers who prioritize natural beauty and lasting appeal.
