5.03 Ct. Bi Color Ametrine

This transparent 5.03 carat cushion shape bi color ametrine from Madagascar carries the quiet dignity of a gem that bridges eras, it evokes the classical charm of antiquity while remaining resolutely modern, the 11.09 by 10.92 by 7.34 mm dimensions and the mixed brilliant cut give the stone a well balanced pavilion and crown that catch the light with enviable fire, the intense color intensity is presented as a natural dialogue between warm golden citrine tones and cool amethyst violets that shift with every tilt, clarity is very slightly included evaluated at eye level which means the gem reads clean to the naked eye while retaining character under magnification, the excellent polish enhances facet crispness and scintillation, enhancement by heat treatment is disclosed and carefully executed to stabilize and deepen the dual palette, this ametrine is a piece that reads like a family heirloom waiting to be set and worn for generations, we present it as a centerpiece for customers who appreciate provenance and restrained luxury. For a custom piece consider designs that honor both color zones so the golden section is framed in warm metals and the violet section is echoed in cooler accents, a classic three stone ring with tapered baguette citrines flanking the cushion ametrine will amplify the honeyed warmth, a halo of small, high quality diamonds will lift the violet center facets and provide contrast without stealing attention, if a more vintage sensibility is desired a filigree gallery in 18 carat yellow gold around the golden face paired with a platinum shoulder will create a two tone setting that mirrors the gem itself, for pendant and earring suites pair the ametrine with small pear shaped amethysts to deepen the purple notes and with tiny champagne diamonds to pick up the citrine glow, for understated elegance consider channel set white topaz or colorless sapphires as side stones to maintain brightness while keeping costs refined, each suggested pairing is intended to reinforce the stone as a timeless centrepiece, to commission a bespoke design or to discuss matched pairs and metal options please contact us and let this rare Madagascan ametrine become the focal point of a custom creation that honors both history and modern taste.
